Yippee!!!!!!…darn wait you have to be in high school to enter the Vans Custom Culture Shoe Customization Contest. So if you know of someone in high school are you are yourself I would make sure your art teacher is informed of this. Man it would have been cool to have done this when I was still in high school. The format is setup regionally and has a few rounds of judging with the final showcase in Los Angeles in which 4 schools will go up for the final judgment. Things are really changing and it is good to see the corporate brands paying attention to the art of custom sneakers, even more so that it is through the original custom shoe brand Vans.
