Jafar from Aladdin Nike Blazer Snakeskin Shoes by JBF Customs

Last week a pair of custom painted Nike Blazers were finished by Jacob Patterson that were inspired by a childhood comic book character memory: Calvin and Hobbes. This week a decon-recon custom of the same shoe by JBF Customs gets its look from a 1990′s childhood Disney movie villain: Jafar of Aladdin. JBF recalls being obsessed with Aladdin as a kid, even watching the movie everyday at one point. This pair of Nike Blazers take on the styling recognizable to JBF’s signature design work: nice soft suede, an exotic material, clean contrast stitching, and the cut out logo on the back heels.

Rich red and black suedes were used to match the evil sorcerer’s robe to begin the main upper panels of the Blazer. The attention to detail begins with authentic snakeskin on the Swooshes and heels to represent the cobra theme seen in Jafar’s golden staff and the transformation he makes into the giant snake during the film in attempt to kill Aladdin. An even closer look also reveals JBF also using gold colored stitching and even placing a bundle of gold wire underneath the back heel cutout to match Jafar’s gold cobra staff. All they need is a sidekick lago the Parrot kids sized Nike Blazer or a competing Aladdin Nike Dunk.

AKKUSTOMZ: Custom Disney’s Aladdin Nike Air Force 1

If you have read most of PaintorThread’s posts you would probably realize custom shoes like this do not get very much love and attention. These Disney Aladdin Nike Air Force Ones by AKKUSTOMZ are worthy of some attention though. With the Genie and Aladdin on the toes airbrushed and hand painted, and small movie scenes on the back panels. It is a bit hard to tell if the back is painted or a sort of printed on fabric, I assume the latter, either way it looks good. Not overdone, though not something everyone could wear.
