‘South BeeeeGums’ Nike Lebron 9 by Mache Custom Kicks

Are we slowly seeing the death of the custom Nike Dunk or Air Force 1? Have they gone the way of the Adidas Superstar shelltoes? There is no way the Dunk or AF1 has or likely ever will be seen as a custom base less often than the Adidas Superstars have the past few years. All three of those shoes provide a timeless sneaker silhouette but the past year and a half has seen the emergence of the Nike Lebron as one of the most customized shoes. In his barrage of customizing over recent months Mache Customs seemed to sneak by with these hybrid-mirrored colorway “BeeeeGums” Nike Lebron 9. The design is nothing overly creative but still clean in its own right amongst the slew of South Beach customs. If you couldn’t guess the base was the Freegums Lebron which were an official release by Nike in collaboration with Miami based street artist Freegums. How do you think they rank among the South Beach customs elite?
