Cole Haan x fragment design Lunargrand Saddle “Knicks” Customs by Revive Customs

Evan of Revive Customs got on Spike Lee‘s radar back in February 2013 with the release of the Nike Air Revolution “Radio Raheem” customs, inspired by a character in Spike’s film, Do The Right Thing. Soon after, he collaborated with Cole Haan on a pair of Lunargrand Wingtips that honored the history of the brand. Now, the trifecta is complete.

To celebrate the #1 Knicks fan’s birthday, we have the Cole Haan x fragment design Lunargrand Saddle “Knicks” Customs by Revive Customs. This time using the “Cole Haan & fragment design LunarGrand Saddle” as a base, Evan painted this New York Knicks inspired pair with a colorway and design that resembles the home jersey for the Brooklyn native’s favorite NBA team, complete with orange insoles that feature an 8-bit digitized version of the Mars Blackmon icon on the left and the Knicks logo with “1973” (the last year the Knickerbockers won the NBA Championship) painted to resemble the numbers on a shot-clock on the right. The heels feature the Cole Haan Needle and Thread™ logo with Spike’s initials on either side.

Pictures have surfaced of the legendary director wearing these birthday customs at the Garden already, but here are the close-ups of the 1-of-1s made expressly for Mars Blackmon.

UPDATE: Spike posted to his Instagram that these are his “lucky shoes” and wore them to another Knicks game.
