White Men Can’t Jump Custom Reebok Reverse Jam Shoes by Twitch Customs

All these need is Gloria or a Venice Beach court hustlin sidekick. Twitch Customs created a 1 of 1 package inspired by the classic basketball flick, “White Men Can’t Jump”, that looks straight from 1992. Despite not being the shoe Billy Hoyle wore in the movie, (those were Nike Air Flight Lites) Twitch customized a pair of Reebok Reverse Jams because he felt they represent the time a bit better. True that is and then finished patterns do so even more. The hand painted design on the shoes were a rendition of the multi colored pattern found on the hats worn by Hoyle: bright blue, red, pink, yellow, orange, and purple broken up by a black foreground. And because shoes are not enough Twitch put together from scratch a custom duffle bag just like Hoyle always had by his side. The custom bag is complete with zippers, handles, a leather Twitch patch, and more wild colors. You can keep the kicks clean before your next blacktop battle.

These custom Reebok Reverse Jams are a 1 of 1 custom available on eBay in size 11: HERE

Sole Heaven Custom Kicks Series: Hush

Not to be confused with the Hush Fabrications that is more known in the custom sneaker online community, Dale at SoleHeaven has recently worked with street artist HUSH to make a pair of custom kicks for the latest installment in the Custom Kicks Series. Using a pair of Reebok NPCII these are nothing entirely special, but I still appreciate looking at the work of an artist on footwear that generally uses other forms of canvas for their art. Any customizer would never give up the chance to have their own shoe made….

There have been a few lucky customizers that have had the chance to work with a company and have their shoe design put into production and released to the public in mass numbers. The opportunities are slim so I suggest not passing up the recent opportunity from Reebok, Sole Collector, and Honda. From the Sole Collector blog:

“Create a Reebok Question that best exemplifies the Honda Fit’s super new, fierce personality. A panel comprised of Reebok Designers, Sole Collector staff and select sneakerheads from the Sole Collector Forums will choose the top 10 designs that represent the all-new Honda Fit’s personality, and those designs will be voted on by everyone. Three pairs of the winning design will be produced for the person receiving the most votes, and the winning design will also be featured on the website and in the pages of Sole Collector Magazine.”

Sounds like a great opportunity anyone could win!
